2008年12月19日上午11点，我非常荣幸的和我们总经理胡立能先生一起代表普拉克公司参加了瑞典艺术家向北京赠送雕塑的揭幕仪式。瑞典驻华大使林川先生，中国瑞典商会主席何墨池先生以及朝阳区副区长吴桂英女士也应邀出席，普拉克公司这次是作为活动赞助商身份出席这一活动的，悉数到场的还有瑞典沃尔沃公司，爱立信公司等。
揭幕的这件雕塑名称叫做“抵制暴力”也称为“捆住枪口”，是一座青铜制作的手枪，但是有意思的是手枪的枪管是被打了结的，以此告诉人们要抵制一切暴力行为，维护世界安定和平。这件作品是瑞典著名艺术家Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd的代表作之一,1980年Carl先生惊闻他的好友John Lennon被谋杀，他对这种无意义的死亡感到非常悲伤和气愤。因此他回到工作室制作了这件著名的艺术作品。作品构思充满创意和幽默让人们在欣赏之余深刻体会到作者呼吁和平安定的心声。
在揭幕仪式上，瑞典驻华大使林川先生讲到：“这座雕像已经在世界上15个城市安放，但是亚洲却没有，因此向中国捐赠一直是艺术家的心愿和梦想，这座雕像将成为中瑞两国友谊的永恒定格，使两国关系更加紧密。”
On December 19th 2008, I am very honoured with our general manager Mr.Lennart Huss on behalf of PURAC to present the unveiling ceremony of sculpture Non-Violence which is donated to Beijing government by the famous Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd. Ambassador of Sweden Mr. Mikael Lindstrom, Chairman of Swedish chamber of commerce in China Mats Harborn, as well as Deputy Governor of Chaoyang District Ms. Wu guiying were invited to attend this event. PURAC presented this time as a sponsor and also the VOLVO corporation, Ericsson Corporation etc.
The sculpture is called "Non-Violence", also be known as "The Knotted Gun", it is a gun model made of bronze but what interesting is that the gun is knotted. The artist tells people in this way to boycott all the violent behaviors and safeguard the world peace and stability. The scuipture is one of the famous works of Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd. in 1980, he was Shocked by the murder of his friend John Lennon, He felt very sad and angry by this kind of senseless death so he returned to his studio and produce this work.The sculpture is full of creative ideas and humor, people can feel great wish of peace in it.
At the ceremony, Ambassador of Sweden Mr. Mikael Lindstrom said: "The statue has been installed in 15 cities of the world, but none in Asia, so to donate one to China has been a dream of the artist. Today his dream comes ture and this statue will serves as witness to the militant friendship between the Chinese and Swedish people.”
